Susan is an agency partner of Jacob Insurance Service. She has been employed with JIS for over 40 years starting at the age of 16 while attending Angola High School. Since that time, her career has expanded to include a licensed property/casualty, life/health agent (including long term care) and JIS office manager. In 2013, Susan became an agency partner. Susan is married to Ed Ralston and has one son, Justin, a high-school principal in Washington, DC. Her hobbies include hockey, reading, travel, and spending time at her family cabin outside of Gaylord, MI. She also has involved herself in the insurance industry with Independent Insurance Agents of Indiana serving on the Board of Directors and annually attending Legislative Conference in Washington, DC. Susan is also actively involved in the community with Refugees Read, Steuben County Community Foundation, 101 Lakes Kiwanis Angola, and Angola Professional & Business Women while supporting Steuben County 4-H, the Trine Hockey program, Rise, Inc., United Way, and Community Humane Shelter of Steuben County to name a few.
