When did you start working for JIS? I started working for Jacob Insurance Service in May of 2014.

 

Education? I graduated high school from Columbia City High School and college from Ball State University. My major at Ball State University was Business Administration.

 

What do you enjoy most about your career? I enjoy helping people and business owners with their risk management. Many companies rely on me to be there for them when an unexpected loss occurs. It is great knowing that I can help “put the pieces back together” for the insured when a claim happens.  

 

How do you like to spend your free time outside of the office? Hobbies? I have a handful of hobbies. What I enjoy the most is videography. I enjoy producing cinematic videos for my friends and family to enjoy. I also enjoy traveling!

 

What would your dream vacation be? My dream vacation would be to visit Germany, which is where my great grandpa & great grandma came from in the early 1900’s. I think Germany is a beautiful place and I would like to experience the historic locations they have there.

 

Where did you receive your first paycheck? What was your role? I received my first “real” paycheck when I was 14 years old from a restaurant in Columbia City, IN called Crossroads Inn. My role was to wash dishes. My first “unofficial”, or should I say tax-free, paycheck was from my father for baling straw when I was 10 years old.
